Course Description: A one day seminar for healthcare professionals, taking an in-depth view of risk factors. Extrinsic risk factors as well as intrinsic factors will be covered including shoe wear, various disease processes, decreased vision, osteoporosis, sarcopenia, orthostatic hypotension, nutrition, incontinence, drugs, drop attacks, restraints, and other balance and mobility impairments. At the end of the day there will be small group case study work utilizing a form that brings the day’s information together for them.
